Privacy & Communications Policy

Effective July 7, 2026

The short version

We collect only what we need to schedule your shoot, deliver your media, and support your order. We do not sell your information, and we only text you about appointments you booked. This is the plain-language version. The full Privacy Policy is linked in the sidebar, and it is the complete and controlling document.

What we collect

  • Contact and billing details: name, email, phone, and brokerage or company.
  • Order and appointment details: property address, access notes, the services you selected, scheduling, and related messages.
  • Portal account details, if you have one: login, order history, and delivery links.
  • Payment status only. Our payment provider handles your card details; we may see things like paid or unpaid and the last four digits.
  • Basic device and usage data: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments and deliverables.
  • Answer questions and provide support.
  • Send appointment-related messages: confirmations, reminders, access coordination, delivery notices, and invoices or receipts.
  • Process payments and help prevent fraud.
  • Keep our site and portal running and secure, and meet our legal obligations.

How we share it

We do not sell your contact information. We share it only as needed to run our services: with vendors who work on our behalf (payment processing, scheduling and portal tools, hosting, SMS delivery, analytics, and IT or security), with anyone you ask us to coordinate with for property access or delivery, and where required by law. If our business is ever sold or merged, your information would transfer with it under the same protections.

Texts and email

No marketing texts, ever. If you give us a phone number when you book, we only text you about that appointment. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Emails relate to your bookings and account; if we ever send a promotional email, it will include an unsubscribe link.

Spam Protection

To protect our forms (such as our contact form) from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may collect device and browser information to confirm you are human. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Analytics & Advertising

We use third-party analytics and advertising tools to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our marketing. These services may set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, links clicked, and approximate location and device information:

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google), for site analytics and advertising measurement, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity, for aggregated heatmaps and session replays that help us improve usability. Recordings exclude form input (text you type is masked). Governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel), for privacy-friendly traffic and performance metrics.
  • Advertising or conversion pixels (such as Meta, LinkedIn, or X), where enabled, used only to measure ad campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. You can also use the privacy controls in the sidebar to turn analytics or marketing tracking on or off for this browser, your choice is applied immediately. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of marketing.

Hosting your media

We host your delivered media indefinitely as a convenience, though a link may pause after 90 days with no activity. If that happens, just contact us and we will reactivate it at no charge. Matterport and 3D tours are hosted for one year from delivery.

Your choices

  • Ask us to update inaccurate contact information.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of appointment texts, or HELP for assistance.
  • Manage cookies in your browser, or use the privacy controls in the sidebar.
  • Request deletion of certain information where the law allows. We may keep what we need for legal, accounting, or operational reasons.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure. Our site and services are not directed to children under 13.

Communication Policy

We text you only about appointments you booked, never marketing. This is a plain-language summary of our text messaging program (154 Photography Appointment Notifications). The full Communication Policy is linked in the sidebar, and it is the complete and controlling document.

What we text about

Appointment-related messages only:

  • Confirmations and reminders
  • Access coordination (for example, a gate code or lockbox question)
  • On-the-way and arrival updates
  • Delivery notifications for your media links
  • Invoice, receipt, and payment-status notices for your booking

No marketing. We do not send promotional, advertising, or sales texts.

Opting in

You opt in by providing your mobile number when you book or set up your account; the opt-in disclosure is shown with the booking terms. Consent is not a condition of purchase: reply STOP at any time, even right after booking, and your booking is unaffected. Expect 2 to 3 messages per appointment, and message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel texts; you will get one final confirmation and nothing further unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@154photography.com or (888) 414-4154. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

We do not sell your contact information, and we use your phone number only to support the appointment you initiated.
